Sound Symposium is pleased to present ONSOUND II: Patchwork Quilt. This second biennial arts and music festival will feature performers from all corners of the Newfoundland and Labrador arts scene, and a special guest from Nova Scotia.

7:00pm – The Watershed Ensemble at The Rooms (9 Bonaventure Ave.) FREE

9:30pm – World Premiere of Cinesthesia in collaboration with Nickel Film Festival (invite-only due to Covid-19 capacity restrictions)

4:00pm-6:00pm – Public screenings of Cinesthesia at NIFCO (40 King’s Rd.), in collaboration with Nickel Film Festival FREE

7:30pm – Duo Concertante at the Anglican Cathedral $22 through Eventbrite

9:30pm – Night Music featuring Kyle Gryphon at The Ship Pub (265 Duckworth St.) $10 cash only, at the door

4:00pm-6:00pm – Public screenings of Cinesthesia at NIFCO (40 King’s Rd.), in collaboration with Nickel Film Festival FREE

8:30pm – In the Rooms of Collective Memory featuring Nicholas Bendzsa (electronic music), Ema Pope (electronic music), David Buley (pipe organ), Chad Feehan (visuals) at the Anglican Cathedral $22 through Eventbrite

10:00pm – Hungry Ghosts: raag for the dead featuring Arabat Beowulf and Mahina Graham-Laidlaw at the Peter Easton Pub (29 Cookstown Rd.) $10 cash only, at the door

4:00pm-6:00pm – Public screenings of Cinesthesia at NIFCO (40 King’s Rd.), in collaboration with Nickel Film Festival FREE

7:30pm – Aaron Prosper with First Light Community Drummers and the Nova Collective at the First Light Centre for Performance and Creativity (81 Cochrane St.) $22 through Eventbrite

11:00am – City Slowdown soundwalk led by Joe Fowler, starting at Harbourside Park FREE
